GRETCHEN HOUSE


This is a registered historic home in southwest Portland. The project included a complete refresh of the surfaces, finishes, and fixtures throughout the house, an extensive millwork and built-in package, and a full kitchen renovation. The client moved from the Bay Area and the JHL Design team partnered with the client’s San Francisco-based interior designer, Lexi Zavad, to incorporate important pieces from their previous home. In partnership with the landscaping team, JHL Design was also responsible for two large structures alongside the pool to facilitate relaxing and entertaining.
